The last death of a Pope before John Paul II was that of John Paul I, in September 1978.
I wish people could do some basic fact checking of this kind of stuff before publishing it. It's not rocket science.
We don't publish much of our own stuff on this blog...we just post the forwards we get here. We have better things to do than to go about checking if every forward we get is tru or not.
I wish people read what a blog is about before commenting on it. It's not rocket science.

Ya...there is more twisted logic here - Pope John Paul I died in 1978...Liverpool did win the european cup that year also...
